Unique, hand forged jewellery created with love and precision
Growing up on a sheep station in Central Otago, New Zealand with parents who instilled the value of making things from scratch helped shape Amy's aesthetic for the handmade.
"My Dad’s work shed was full of intriguing bits and pieces, hammers and wrenches lined the walls and bench tops and I’m sure this is where my fascination for hand tools was born. Mum was also the creative type, through hand-spinning wool, knitting and sewing and of course cooking and baking".
Nowadays there is a lot of great technology out there, making things easier, faster and more abundant (and therefore less expensive) however, Amy believes there is still something very special about crafting an object by hand that will last lifetimes and won't be multiply reproduced in an exact likeness. That is why all of her jewellery is hand forged from start to finish, ensuring each piece is truly unique. "It’s important to me that my jewellery not only embody the essence of being handmade, but is refined and accurately crafted to the highest quality".
Custom work for all occasions, including engagement and wedding rings, are her passion.
